1. The first thing to remember is that your partner is NOT a porn star so open crotch knickers or open cup bras are not a good idea. Glamour lingerie is great as a little something to spice things up in the bedroom but not for everyday wear, she will never wear them again!
2. Keep it simple, that’s the best advice. Women don’t really like lingerie that’s bright red or has dangly bits all over it. Women like quality designs that are comfortable, sexy and seductive, so stick with satins, silks or just simple comfortable fabrics that look fantastic.
3. Women also love matching sets. Existing surveys says that most women don’t own a matching bra & thong/brief set, so buying a set makes the items a little bit more special.
   Go for seductive colours rather than sexy ones. If in doubt on the colour go for pastels, white, nude, black or patterns that feature these colours. You can’t go wrong with these as they appeal to pretty much everyone. If you buy her bright red, they’ll spend the rest of their life at the bottom of her knicker drawer.
4. Thongs or Boyshorts? This is where you can really screw-up! You will have to ask. Its no good guessing you WILL get it wrong. It probably depends on the mood she’s in when you ask! Briefs and shorts are comfortable and cover the bum-cheeks, thongs don’t cover the bum but do have a band around the waist. Strings tend to be like thongs but with even less material! If you buy a nice set with the type she likes, they can all look sexy and gorgeous.
5. The best way to find your partners bra size is to have a root through her knicker draw. Look for her favourite and most comfortable bra, check the label for the size and make a note of it. Also check her knicker size as well; these usually work on a small, medium, large.
   IMPORTANT: If your partner catches you mooching though her underwear draw come clean and tell her what you’re doing. If you make up an excuse she may think you are a bit of a perv and like looking through her knickers when she’s not around!!!
6. To complicate matters further there are so many different styles of lingerie to chose from. Just remember that you don’t have to stick with bra & knickers. You can also look at bustiers, camisoles, and baby dolls, especially for special occasions.
